Concept2BikeErg

Has had the Concept2 BikeErg three years and about 10 million meters with no issues; only cleaning and monitor batteries, and would buy another.

“I’ve had it 3 years, somewhere around 10,000,000 meters and no issues at all. Only maintenance has been cleaning it, changing batteries in the monitor. Couldn’t be happier with it.”

REP FitnessREP AB-5200 2.0

Owns the AB-5200 2.0, calls it a tank that takes anything and is very pleased with its build quality, padding and cover.

“I’d go with what I own: Rep 5200 2.0. It is a tank and will take anything I throw at it. I’m fortunate to have ways to do all the things the attachments for other benches do.”

REP FitnessREP Ares 2.0

Loves their 93-inch Ares 2.0: good stretch on lat pulldowns, rows are okay, their Nighthawk fits inside the rack, and REP support has been phenomenal.

“You’re right about the buy once option. I expect this thing to outlive me. It’s very nice, REP customer service is phenomenal, and I currently have no real complaints.”

Force USAG3

Loves their Force USA G3: very sturdy and fairly simple to install, but the 2x2 uprights with 5/8-inch holes mean most attachments must come from Force USA.

“I love it. Force USA G3. Extremely sturdy, 11 gauge steel, relatively simple install. Only thing is that it's 2x2 uprights with 5/8-inch holes so most of the attachments have to come from Force USA directly”

Force USAM20

One of the first M20 owners; loves it and has no buyer's remorse, though the leg holder/low-row footplate has been back-ordered.

“the M20 and I did a breakdown on Reddit and YouTube. I freaking love that machine. It’s one of the few expensive purchases I made that I don’t have buyers remorse.”

REP FitnessREP Athena Functional Trainer

Just assembled a wall-mounted REP Athena; heavier handle attachments lift the headplate, which REP says happens above about 3.5 lb, so they plan to buy lighter attachments.

“I just got done assembling my REP Athena wall-mounted rack, and when I attach handle attachments, such as the triangle row, they are heavy enough to make the headplate float a bit which I don't like.”

Titan FitnessTitan X-3 Folding Power Rack

Installed a Titan X-3 folding rack around a doorway with the uprights folding outward; despite stringers on only one or two studs on one side, it is very stable and sturdy, and they recommend it for the money.

“I am extremely happy with this unit and shocked at the stability. It is a very sturdy rack and if installed correctly, even in a unique way like this is, you cant beat it for the money.”

Force USACompact Leg Press & Hack Squat

Their back-ordered 2027 Compact Leg Press arrived scratched with a bent upright, the hardware bags didn't match the steps and the diagram-only instructions were poor; assembly took 2.5 hours. Rates packaging 5/10 and instructions 2/10.

“this thing was beat to hell with scuffs and scratches all over it. Kind of frustrating to wait for a back ordered product this long and it come in scratched up. All apparently cosmetic at least.”

BowflexSelectTech 552

Their Bowflex 552 adjustable dumbbells have been great, though they plan to move to fixed dumbbells eventually.

“I have a set of Bowflex 552 adjustable dumbbells right now, and they have been great, but I definitely want to move to a fixed dumbbell set eventually.”

Force USAC20

Owns a C20, loves it and praises it whenever they can; wishes for a kit to switch between 2:1 and 1:1 like the M20.

REP FitnessREP Ares 2.0

Owns a 6-post Ares 2.0 and found its central low pull points, with the posts to hold onto, make cable adductor/abductor work better than a dedicated machine, saving space and money.

“I bought a REP Ares 2.0 and was expecting to still want a dedicated abductor/abductor machine. Now, I don't think I need it. In fact I think it just isn't that good in comparison.”

Force USAG3

Bought a G3 with upgrades and the MyBench; coming from a commercial gym, it has checked every box and they call it a well-built, quality piece of gear.

“I purchased a G3 with upgrades and a My Bench - it’s been amazing. I came from a typical gym environment, and this gym has checked every box for me - no going back now.”

Force USACompact Leg Press & Hack Squat

Their 2027 Compact Leg Press sled rocks back and forth when pushed; only four of the eight rollers touch the guide rods, and Force USA is sending new rollers.

“I got my 2027 Force USA compact leg press, and when I push up the sled I can feel it rock back and forth like I'm on a roller coaster or rail road tracks.”

REP FitnessREP Nighthawk Adjustable Bench

Loves their Nighthawk, says it's fine for most people and they don't notice the seat gap.

“I have the nighthawk and absolutely love it. I couldn’t imagine getting a heavier bench unless you’re like 6 foot four 275 pounds or something ridiculous the nighthawk is perfectly fine for most people.”

REP FitnessREP x Pépin FAST Series Adjustable Dumbbells

Likes their REP x Pépin dumbbells overall; they clang a bit and aren't the fastest to adjust, and they wish REP sold other change-plate increments.

“The Pepins are great! They clang a bit and aren't *the* fastest adjustment dumbells... but overall I can't complain. I do wish Rep would release other change plate weight increments though.”

Force USAC20

An early C20 owner who has loved it overall; the biggest complaint is the stability of the sliding bench.

“I was one of the first to get the C20 and overall have loved it. My biggest complaint is the sliding bench stability and other aspects about it.”

Force USACompact Leg Press & Hack Squat

Has had the 2027 Compact Leg Press for two weeks: feels commercial, the adjustments and big footplate suit everyone, packaging and instructions were excellent and it took 90 minutes to assemble, though it was back-ordered 3–4 weeks without warning; calls it worth more than the price.

“For hack squats, leg pressed and calf raises… I couldn’t be happier! This thing is commercial feeling and the movement patterns feel great for my biomechanics.”

Force USAC20

Loves their C20, but a twisting left rear cable has made the low row unusable at light weights; Force USA has worked on it with them for eight months and support has been very good.

“I own a C20 and I absolutely love it and am a fan boy promoting it on Reddit and elsewhere every chance I get. The one and only issue I've experienced is a twisting left rear cable”

REP FitnessREP Ares 2.0

Sold the REP ISO arms they never used and bought the Ares 2.0, which they now use every day and find much better.

“Get the Athena. Iso arms are such a pita i never used mine. Sold em, got the ares 2.0 and use it every day. So much better.”

REP FitnessREP Nighthawk Adjustable Bench

Overall satisfied with the Nighthawk: well built, firm but comfortable pad, easy to move and adjust, very stable except the front leg lifts slightly during sit-ups at low angles; the leg roller arrived without hardware, a threaded pin was damaged, and REP support was slow.

“The knurl on the various handles are awesome. Green looks really good. Easy to move around and adjust. Bench padding is firm but comfortable. Much better than the newer Rogue benches I've used.”
